Our events are rooted in collaboration and resistance
We work with groups and individuals who share our aim, so we can share resources and capacities, supporting initiatives that are created by and for our people. By doing so, Afreeda tries to build spaces for direct solidarity and decolonial perspectives within the media and arts landscape. Our gatherings are here to shift narratives, amplify marginalized voices, and imagine liberated futures together.
